Psoriatic patients can use a new curative preparation

Two to three percent of the worlds population suffer psoriasis; there might be over 160 000 of them in the Czech Republic, as the experts say. This is the diseased that does not pose any immediate life threat, but can appear anywhere on the body to lower substantially the quality of the patient's life. The Czech psoriatic patients can now make use of this new preparation made from the vegetal raw materials and oils.

"Psoriasis is curable, bet never gets fully removed," František Novotný from the Pro Sanum sanatorium in Prague told the journalists today; the disease has genetic backgrounds behind. Treatment with the new preparations - cleaning gel, ointment, and body milk from the Dr. Michaels series, as Novotný alleges, shows up to ninety percent efficiency among the group composed of his patients.

The new means are widely available in the Czech pharmacies, being sold there as the cosmetic items. "They won't surely do any harm and won't have any adverse effects," Jana Hercogová, the dermatologist from the Prague hospital "Na Bulovce" said. According to its manufacturer, the preparation is also applicable to some other skin diseases and can be applied by children as well.

The disease tends to appear whenever the immune system causes all too fast dermal cell regeneration. These cells will then make on the ski surface these red, scaly and inflamed spots that can itch, crack, bleed, and be utmost painful.

Close to one quarter of these patients suffer moreover the psoriatic arthritis which causes inflammations and swellings on your arms, legs or large joints.

Psoriasis: New therapeutic options

There are new cosmetic products for the treatment of psoriasis by the name Dr. Michaels. The tests have proven great effectiveness, comparable with the products that do contain hormones, although these products are based on natural components only. The price is slightly higher and so far they are not covered by insurance, therefore patients have to pay for these Australian natural products by themselves.
