New hope for all psoriatic patients

BRATISLAVA May 5th, 2009 (WN/PR) – Up to 5% of all Slovaks and their families know the problem very well – more or less extensive red patches covered with scales that are extremely hard to get rid off. Or the tiny dry "snow flakes" on the scalp and in the hair ... these also are a manifestation of psoriasis. The therapy of this disease is neither easy nor cheap. In many cases substances have to be applied which have a severe effect on the human organism.

Psoriasis is a chronic non-infectious inflammatory skin disease affecting up to 5% of all population. Experts have included it in the group of autoimmune skin disorders. Basic therapy comprises the application of topical preparations, phototherapy, spa treatments, various diets or sea water therapy. It is necessary to carefully consider systemic therapy – corticoids, retinoids, cyclosporine A or biologics may substantially influence the whole organism of a psoriatic patient.
According to latest research, a more effective and especially more affordable procedure is the therapy using the range of revolutionary Dr. Michaels products.
