The end of Psoriasis?
The inventor of Dr. Michaels products is Dr. Michael Tirant. During his recent visit in Prague he referred to himself as "cosmopolite, who just happens to be living in Australia at the moment". On his clinics he has been treating psoriasis patients already since the year 1983. He said to 21. CENTURY regarding his invention: "It was sort of said "fatal coincidence," thanks to which I simply found out that the cream which I had been using for treating something else was working on psoriasis."

Psoriasis is an immunity system disease, which discomforts about 2 - 4 % of the whole population. In Czech Republic there are about three hundred thousand patients. Psoriasis is incurable disease. That may be changed. Australian doctor, Mr. Michael Tirant has developed a product line based on fruit acids. The clinical tests conducted so far look very promising.

Another hope for all seems to be in the new preparation many experts call the angel of salvation in the struggle against psoriasis. MUDr. Michael Tirant stood by its cradle. "A global native, now living in Australia," as he introduced himself. At his clinics he has been treating the psoriatic patients since 1983. While staying in Prague on the occasion of the 21st CENTURY, he commented the discovery like this: "It was, as it is said, a kind o fateful accident which allowed me to find out that the cream I was using to treat another problem was acting against psoriasis. My preparations contain extracts from numerous herbs, oils and fruit acids that play a key role. No steroids are present therein!" The preparations of Dr. Michael Tirant are now under testing for organic compounds (steroids) potential applications as they ten to show adverse side effects. "Meanwhile" there are just the cosmetic preparations - cleaning gel, body milk, and ointment. They had already been successfully tested by Dr. Tirant on the patients from the Czech Republic, Russia, Hungary, Rumania, Serbia, and Poland. Following the six-week treat, the troubles retreated by 80 % on average. Prof. MUDr. František Novotný, DrSc., the owner of a sanatorium on Prague, who tested the preparations on his clients, said to the 21st CENTURY that he had succeeded in up to 90 % of cases.
Austrian Disbelief
The products bearing the trademarks of Dr. Michaels were tested by experts in Austria. "Their clinical testing outcomes were so distinct that the physicians engaged in the testing thought the products contained corticosteroids or calcipotriol. Having clarified these issues the Austrian Ministry of Health ordered more then 140 chemical tests to be carried at once. These tests gave no evidence of even the least presence of these adverse constituents. They are fully natural. "I tried them even on children in Australia," the creator added. Prof. Novotný who had tested them said, "I was a pessimist when looking at the chemical structure of this preparation for the first time. But, following the tests I can say that it is a revolutionary preparation." The chances of the psoriatic patients that they get rid of the disease will much grow at the end of 2005 when the preparations could start being widely available in many countries (incl. the Czech Republic) as the medicaments already.
