Dr. Michael Tirant - Information for the Hungarian patients

September 29, 2010, Budapest – Australian medical researcher and specialist practitioner, Dr. Michael Tirant today issued the following public interest communiqué, and kindly requests representatives of the medical and pharmaceutical media, as well as professional organizations, and patients’ interest organizations to distribute its message, which is of high interest to 300 000 patients suffering from psoriasis in Hungary.

Dr. Michael Tirant, Australian medical researcher and specialist practitioner hereby officially informs psoriasis sufferers and all parties to whom it may concern, that products manufactured in Austria and distributed in Hungary under the „Dr. Michaels” brand name by Rica Hungária Ltd. are not the same as the original, Australian products of Dr. Michael Tirant.

Dr. Michael Tirant also stresses that he only assumes responsibility for the healing effects of the original products made in Australia, which are manufactured in accordance with the recipe and technology he developed, and tested in clinical trials.

“The original products for psoriasis and eczema that we manufacture in Australia are currently not available in Hungary”, said Dr. Michael Tirant.
“The original products, which are produced along a unique recipe and manufacturing technology, and have been tested in clinical trials will be reintroduced to the Hungarian market in January 2011, under the PSORATINEX® brand name, he added.

Dr. Michael Tirant’s decision to change the brand name is aimed at clearly distinguishing his products from the ones manufactured in Austria and currently distributed in Hungary under „Dr. Michaels” label.

Until Psoratinex is introduced to the Hungarian market, patients may purchase the original Australian products of Dr. Michael Tirant at Slovakian pharmacies listed at the end of this press release (they speak Hungarian). The listed pharmacies are prepared to satisfy the demand of Hungarian customers, however, if one is planning to purchase large quantities of the products, it is advised to call the pharmacies, in advance.

Dr. Michael Tirant hereby advises patients that in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia the original products continue to be sold under the „Dr. Michaels” label.
